Sebastian Professional Halloween Challenge Rules and Regulations Overview 10/14/2020

Contest Overview:

Sebastian Professional is hosting a Halloween Challenge Instagram contest from October 14, 2020 through October 28, 2020 for the chance to win a $250 Visa gift card. Two winners will be selected during the contest’s duration.

During the submission phase, interested stylists can enter for a chance to be selected by sharing a Halloween-inspired look using Sebastian products. To enter, the stylist must:

Post an in-feed image or carousel post of your Halloween-inspired looks using Sebastian products.
Tag @sebastianpro_northamerica and #RulesDontApply in the caption.

The winning stylists will be selected by a panel of Sebastian Professional brand representatives.

No purchase is necessary. A purchase will not increase the user’s chance of winning.

The Sponsor is the Wella Corporation located at 4500 Park Granada, Calabasas, CA 91302.

Contest Entry Dates and Decisions:

October 14, 2020 - October 28, 2020
Winners will be announced October 31, 2020
Two (2) winners will be selected by a panel of Sebastian Professional brand representatives.
All decisions of Sponsor will be final.

How to Enter:

Contest will be hosted on Instagram only. The stylist must:

Post an in-feed image or carousel post of your Halloween-inspired looks using Sebastian products.
Tag @sebastianpro_northamerica and #RulesDontApply in the caption.

Prizes:

Two (2) winners will receive (1) gift card for $250.

Eligibility and Entry Restrictions:

Interested stylists must fit within the eligibility guidelines to qualify:

Contest void where prohibited by law, rule or regulation and open only to legal residents of the United States, the District of Columbia, Canada, and Puerto Rico.
Contestants must be 18 years of age or the legal age of majority or older in the state or territory in which they reside.
No employee of Sebastian Professional or their families, will be allowed to enter the competition.
Must be a licensed stylist in the United States or Canada.

Stylist may enter more than once but must use a unique image for each entry.
The same stylist may not be selected as a winner more than one time.
Entries must be posted during the “open entry dates.” Any entry posted outside of the timeframe will not be considered valid.

Photo Content Restrictions:

If you are featuring any person in your entry (e.g., a model), this person must be of the age of majority in the state in which they reside, and must be the only person depicted in the photo.
The photographer must be of the age of majority in the state in which they reside.
It’s your sole responsibility to make sure that the person depicted in the photo and any professional photographer you have used for the photo have given their explicit consent for the photo to be submitted/uploaded in the Contest and that no copyrights are violated by submitting your entry. The Sponsor may reject or remove any submitted photo if it believes in its sole discretion that such required consent has not been collected. You are required to have both the person featured in the Entry and the photographer (if you have used a photographer), complete a Consent Form and provide this to Sponsor or its agencies upon request.
Photo must not contain material that violates or infringes another's rights, including but not limited to privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights, or that constitutes copyright infringement.
Photo must not disparage Sponsor or any other person or party affiliated with the Contest.
Photo must not contain material that is inappropriate, indecent, obscene hateful, tortious, defamatory, slanderous, libelous or otherwise questionable. Sponsor retains sole discretion as to what constitutes inappropriate content.
Photo must not contain material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age; and
Photo must not contain material that is unlawful, in violation of or contrary to the laws or regulations in any state or territory where your photo is created.

Conditions and Limitations:

The Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram. No cash equivalent for any prize is offered, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Sponsor is not responsible for any entries that are late or not received. Sponsor may in its sole discretion suspend, modify or discontinue this Contest at any time. Should the Contest be terminated prior to the stated expiration, notice will be posted. In no event shall more prizes be awarded than the number of each type stated in the “Prizes” section above. If legitimately claimed, all stated prizes will be awarded.

Subject to applicable privacy laws, all entry information collected may be used for the Sponsor's internal purposes and to send you information about Sponsor’s products/ promotions (you may opt out by following the instructions at the bottom of any promotional email you receive from Sponsor) but will not be provided or sold to third parties, except as necessary for the administration of the Contest or legal procedure. By entering, candidates agree to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s Privacy Policy. All decisions of the Sponsor will be final and binding. This Contest is subject to all applicable laws and regulations. Sponsor and its agents, affiliates and advertising and promotion agencies (a) make no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind outside those written in these Official Rules, (b) disclaim any implied warranty and condition; and (c) are not in any way responsible or liable for damage, loss or injury resulting from acceptance and use of a prize. Winner assumes liability for costs, expenses, injuries and/or damages of any kind caused or claimed to be caused by participating in the Contest, or by the acceptance, possession or use of any prize. By entering, all entrants (or entrant’s parent/legal guardian if any entrant is deemed a minor in the state, province or country of his/her residence) agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless Sponsor, and its agents, affiliates and advertising and promotion agencies, as well as Instagram, from any claim, injury, damage, liability or loss that may arise, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from the participation in this Contest, including without limitation, third-party intellectual party claims arising out of or relating to any entry and/or from the acceptance, receipt and/or use of any prize.

For the complete Contest winners list, available after the date the winners are announced, send your request along with a self-addressed stamped envelope to Sponsor at the address listed above, within thirty (30) days following the end of the Contest.
