she is an ice-cool swedish indie-rocker who has a dominating edge to her voice. a grammy-award winning front-woman whose scorching style is igniting the rock scene.

What inspires you most? I get inspired by everything in life: the people I meet and the places I go to, and of course music and art too.

How did you discover your talent as a singer and performer?
I don't think I ever "discovered" myself in that way, I think it was just something I had to do to feel good about myself. And I kept doing it until I got good at it. It's a passion we all share in the band; we love to perform!

What's one of the most powerful or memorable experiences you've had since you started performing?
Once we were in Mexico on tour with The Strokes and on a day off we went to the Sun and Moon Pyramids outside of Mexico City. We had a Native American guide named Gorilla and after the sightseeing he took us back to his family's house. We had homemade tequila and awesome Mexican food. After dinner we had a big "Indian ceremony" with smoke, feathers and a lot of singing and dancing. At the end of the night the local "medicine man" opened up a big old book and gave us our Indian names. Mine was "flower in the wind." And according to him, I had the power to hypnotize people too. Awesome!! That was one of my most powerful and memorable experiences. Ever.

How do you prepare for a concert? Do you have any pre-show rituals?
I usually need about two hours before the show to do my hair and make up. I've always done it myself so it's perfect for me to get some alone time by myself to get into the right mood. And of course I listen to some good music too.

If you weren't a rock star, what other career could you see yourself pursuing?
I met Felix (the guitarist) in high school at an art class when I was 17 or 18 years old. I was really into art and thought maybe that was something I was going to work with in the future. So, I'd have to say graphic designer, illustrator for magazines or just an artist of some kind.

What's your favorite place to shop in the world?
I don't have one place in particular that I like more then others. Copenhagen is the biggest city around where I live so I go there sometimes because there's a lot more to choose from. Otherwise I think NYC is a great place to do some shopping.

Describe your signature fashion look?
On stage it's a combination of being practical but still fierce! I need to be able to move around but at the same time feel sexy. Always high heels, though.

What role does beauty play in your overall style?
Beauty comes in so many different forms. You want to feel like you own the world when you're up there on stage and with the right beauty look or clothes it can make you a lot more confident. And that's beauty to me. Confidence is everything!

What's your go-to beauty routine?
A quick fix is starting with Sebastian Color Ignite for shiny, vibrant hair, a little make-up and a nice pair of high heels. I love how heels make your legs look even better and you walk much "prouder".

How do you relate to the Sebastian brand and the campaign you're starring in?
I relate to it in a very simple way. Sebastian is a brand that I would use anyway, regardless of whether I'm starring in the campaign or not. It's good stuff! It's as simple as that.

How would you describe Sebastian?
To me it's a high-quality brand for professional hair care and styling, with a fearless edge. Their products are also great to have while I'm on tour doing shows because they're made for everyday use.

Define fearless?
Confidence is everything. When you feel comfortable with yourself you don't fear anything. Everything is possible! That's fearless to me.
